Victorian Councils are invited to apply for grants of up to $30,000 to partner with community groups to deliver local graffiti prevention initiatives.

The Graffiti Prevention Grants provide funding for Victorian councils to partner with community stakeholders to develop and deliver projects to prevent graffiti vandalism in communities.

Projects that may be eligible to receive funding are encouraged to adopt a comprehensive approach to addressing illegal graffiti by drawing on a range of graffiti prevention strategies.

Partnerships between councils and community stakeholders to address illegal graffiti are also a critical component of the grants.

Project ideas include initiatives that improve natural surveillance or protect vulnerable graffiti hotspots, education and awareness initiatives, graffiti removal activities and projects which encourage greater community ownership of an area.

Program information, including guidelines, examples of previously funded projects and links to the online application form can be found on our Graffiti Prevention Grants (External link) page.

Applications close 4.00pm on Friday 20 April 2018.
